ABC News anchor Amy Robach and Susan Ford Bales will host Candid Conversations at DeVos Place on October 8th. This free event to raise breast cancer awareness is made possible by Spectrum Health Betty Ford Breast Care Services.
We are proud of the impact made by last year’s event. Following Candid Conversations, more than 400 women scheduled mammograms and 26 cases of breast cancer were diagnosed. We want to empower more women to take charge of their health by being part of this year’s conversation.
Starting at 3 p.m., attendees can check out vendor booths and take home health information, discounts, giveaways, and more. Candid Conversations begins at 4:15 p.m. and concludes at 6:15 p.m.
Candid Conversations is free of charge, but donations are accepted in Betty Ford’s name that will help to fund breast care services such as mammograms for underserved women. Donate $10 to the virtual ribbon campaign in support of Betty Ford Breast Care Services. Text RIBBON to 41010. Donations can also be made here.
